A garment process house handles thousands of pieces moving through dyeing, finishing and quality control — and losing track of even a few breaks trust with customers. We built a custom SAP Business One add-on that digitizes the entire workflow, from gate entry to final delivery, with quality checks built in.
The challenge
Pieces arrive before their exact content is known, pass through multi-stage beam production, and must be tracked individually through quality control and dispatch — a level of piece-wise traceability standard SAP doesn’t provide out of the box.
What we built
- Custom forms for the full journey: Gate Entry, Greige Inward, Custom Production Order, Issue Slip, Folding Receipt, QC Receipt, QC Process, Price Update and Pick List
- Beam-based production with batch goods-issue that allocates raw materials proportionally and closes stages from one screen
- Quality control that routes passed pieces to finished goods and rejects to a separate warehouse
- Pick-list-driven delivery so the exact pieces a customer selects flow straight into dispatch
